MHCC Logo UsageMt. Hood Community College has specific guidelines for using the Mt. Hood logos. Please take the time to read them. It will help you in creating better documents.

In general:

Leave space around the logo.
Keep the logo in proportion.
Never use the mountain by itself.
Always use Mt. Hood, never use Mount.
Nothing printed over the logo.

Important Notes ADA Statement
Whenever a poster, event notification, or other document is made available to the public it must have the ADA Statement printed legibly on the document.

Office of College Advancement
Anytime a document is sent off campus to the public it must be approved by the Office of College Advancement.

Quick Copy - Use this option for basic black and white copy jobs with a total quantity of 1,000 finished pieces or less. Restricted to jobs with simple stapling and no folding.

Printing Order - Use this option for all other jobs including: press jobs, color copying, graphic design, carbonless printing (multiple copy forms), and jobs with cutting, folding, and other bindery services. This option is also used for work to be completed by our graphic designers.

Costs - Graphic Services staff will review the job before it is printed and call or e-mail you if we need clarification about your job. The price listed is an estimate at the time your job was received. All jobs are billed at the end of the month to the account number you give us.

Uploading Your FileWhen you submit a work order request, you will have the option of uploading a file to be printed. We strongly recommend doing this if possible. It will speed up the turn around time for your job.

If your document file cannot be automatically converted into a pdf file by Active PDF on our system (including MS Publisher files), you can install the PrimoPDF maker available for free download if it is not already installed on your machine. This tool can be used as a printer driver to create a PDF from virtually any document type.

What if you only have a hard copy of your document? Or what if you have updates for a document that Graphic Services already has? You can print out the ticket that the system creates in a pop-up window and attach it to the document. Then send the document and ticket to Graphic Services through campus mail or drop it off in person.

Re-orders and Quotes Re-orders - Once you have submitted an order you will have access to your order history. At that point you will be able to place re-orders for previous jobs.

Quotes - You may use the quotes function to estimate the cost of jobs yourself. Please consult with us if you are doing something unusual or can't figure out how to order what you want.
